Full dentures are still today influenced on the concepts of Prof. Dr. Albert Gerber.
Prof. Dr. Gerber developed what is known as the Condylar theory. The features are the lingualised, bilaterally balanced occlusion, the tooth-to-tooth occlusion and the matching mortar-pestle posterior teeth. This Condylar theory is clearly illustrated using the example of the DeltaForm^® posterior tooth from Merz Dental, in a step-by-step guide for the set-up of full dentures in lingualised occlusion and lectured in both courses basic and master.
