Light-curing, pink-coloured transparent polymer trays for the fabrication of set-up bases and impression appliances in order for the patient to gain a first realistic impression of the denture, for example during the wax try-in, which is to be made of acrylic at a later stage. Furthermore, the slight transparency of the base trays enable the dental technician to see any markings he may have made on the model through the base tray. In this manner, he saves time and a continuous lifting and lowering is avoided.
